How is the warm sleep sack different from the standard SNOO Sack?
Both the original SNOO Sack and the SNOO Comforter Sack feature our patented safe-sleep wings that ensure your little one snoozes on their back, snug inner bands that keep your baby securely wrapped, and shoulder snaps that allow for easy arms-out sleeping! But SNOO Comforter Sack offers two more innovations: Its lightweight cotton shell is stuffed with eco-friendly insulation for extra-cozy sleeps on cool to cold nights and its innovative two-way zipper is purposefully placed off-center to avoid bulky zipper-on-zipper layering over a baby’s PJs!
What are the best temperatures to use the warm sleep sack in?
The SNOO Comforter Sack has a TOG rating of 2.0, which means it’s ideal for temperatures that fall below 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Choose your SNOO Sack based on the temperature in your little one’s room, not the temperature outside.
When is it too warm to use the SNOO Comforter Sack for babies?
SNOO Comforter Sack is meant to be used for cool- to cold-weather sleeps (typically that means below 68 degrees Fahrenheit). When the temperature inside your baby’s room hits 69 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, our original SNOO Sack will likely be more comfortable for your baby.
Are sleep sacks warm enough?
SNOO Comforter Sack offers babies the perfect level of comfort and warmth for cool and cold sleeps. But your baby should still be dressed in either a cotton bodysuit or cotton pajamas underneath their sack. (Avoid fleece pajamas which are not breathable and can cause your little one to overheat.)
Do babies’ arms stay warm in sleep sacks?
Yes! Thanks to nifty shoulder snaps, SNOO Comforter Sack allows your baby to sleep with their arms inside or outside the swaddle. To ensure your little one is warm enough either way, dress them in a long-sleeve cotton bodysuit or long-sleeve cotton pajamas. While it might be tempting to bundle them up in fleece jammies to keep them extra toasty, don’t! Fleece is synthetic fabric, so it’s not breathable, which ups the risk of overheating.
